| When using Pot of Duality, in for example HERO's, or Hieratics, make sure to first use, when in hand, E - Emergency Call or Hieratic Seal of Convocation first, for deckthinning. this improves the chance that you'll get cards you may need for midgame or endgame.

| Pot of Duality is a staple, though it should be limited in use in decks that special summon a lot. I run 2 in Hieratics, mainly for openinggame, where I want backrow and card car d, and PoD is a pretty useful help in that case. | |

| Deckthinning is something you should do for any draw card, not just pot of duality. | |

| Fabled should not be running PoD, since it takse the ability to Special Summon away, which Fabled is dependant of. | |

C.C. means that if you can sumon right from the get go its somewhat pointless to have PoD. Might be a good idea to side deck it in if you go first though. your not going to special summon first turn.

| that is true fabled should not run PoD but i have seen fabled deck profiles and they run 2 PoD n im like WHY? but fabled have their own draw power so PoD would jus be pointless and biff dats true if fabled do run PoD and they go first they would not start off strong in the beggining they would check their hand and see where they r at and wat dey can do turn 2

| I dont like runnin PoD. Yes u can pick 1 of 3 cards but over all ur pickin 1 card over a SS. But i found a loop hole around it. Wouldnt Double Summon or Ultimate Offering help off set the Eff of PoD | |

| @Dueling_master: In my experience, Double Summon and Ultimate Offering are bad unless they're in a deck that they work well with, like Gadgets for Ultimate Offering. I have yet to see a deck that Double Summon is good in. In my opinion you shouldn't run PoD unless you're willing to forgo getting much done that turn (or you don't need Special Summons). That's just me though. Do as you like with your deck, and I hope your combo works well for you. | |

| Double Summon is bad. Period. It's a -1 for an extra summon. Gadgets could use it better, just as Ultimate Offering, but other than that, the cards take precious space in yuour deck, you'd rather use differently.
Not to mention, Fusion, Synchro and Xyz still are down. Or ritual for that matter.
