The New and Improved System, as requested of Dueling_master

In each Dorm, there are three subranks. These subranks are represented by Chesspieces. In the Claw of Hermos Dorm you have the subranks of Pawn, Knight and Bishop, the Fang of Critias Dorm has Knight, Bishop and Rook, and the Eye of Timaeus Dorm has Bishop, Rook and Queen. When you enter the Academy, you will be placed in the lowest dorm, lowest subrank. After that, you get to inprove by posting, and by dueling others for experience points. When you reach a certain amount of Exp. Pnts, you rank up.

These are the amounts of Experience required to rank up:

Hermos Pawn: 0
Hermos Knight: 10
Hermos Bishop: 20

Critias Knight: 40
Critias Bishop: 60
Critias Rook: 90

Timaeus Bishop: 120
Timaeus Rook: 170
Timaeus Queen: 250


Here's how to get experience Points:

For each post you make, you get 1 Exp Pnt. But that's not everything. You also get 5 points for each duel you win. But make sure to post every win, along with a screen shot, otherwise we cannot see whether you won or not, and you might miss on the points

This is too easy in my opinion. Anyone could advance to the highest rank just by being reasonably active. Having dorms is pointless with this system, because every active member will be at the highest rank in no time. I think you should use something a little more difficult, like doing well in a tourney/event or posting a genuinely useful article.

Hermos Bishop: 200

Critias Knight: 400
Critias Bishop: 600
Critias Rook: 900

Timaeus Bishop: 1200
Timaeus Rook: 1700
Timaeus Queen: 2500
